Morgenstern combines historical fantasy and vivid imagery for a dark, complex, yet lyrical, tale that will easily transport readers to another time and and place.
I was wondering if anyone had read this book. It got so much hype before it came out, but I am still struggling through it right now. I can't get past the fact that it is written with a thrid person narrator. I find the narrator saying things like "You have your doubts that..." very distracting. But the story itself sounds really good.
