Soccerland was the name Flora Dupre and her Mom gave to the fantasy land they escaped to when Ma was undergoing chemotherapy to defeat the cancer that was ravaging her body. Conversationally, they would replay notable moments in women's soccer. Her Mom succombed to cancer, and Flora is determined to become part of Soccerland in real life. She lives on her French-Canadian grandparents' potato farm in Maine. She is granted a scholarship to attend the International Sports Academy and try for a spot on the 15 and Under USA Women's Soccer Team.
