A Death Note is a notebook that was dropped into the Human world by a Shinigami death god. Any human whose name is written in the notebook dies. Light Yagami has been using the death note to rid the world of known criminals. As authorities begin closing in on him, another Death Note has been given to a young girl who is trying to use it to help Light.
