As the concluding book in the "Across the Universe" trilogy,
Shades of Earth met all of my expectations. Elder and Amy, along with a good portion of the population aboard the spaceship
Godspeed, are landing on Centauri-Earth, to build a new home. However, Centauri-Earth isn't what any of them expected. There are hidden dangers, secrets, and mysteries that must be solved in order for a new colony to exist and prosper. It is a riveting trilogy that I would highly recommend to the YA public.
